INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Conference participants that are coming from overseas should check the VISA requirements for entry to Canada. Make sure you are complying with all entry requirements listed on the Government of Canada's Immigration and Citizenship website. They also have specific information for visitors attending meetings, events and conferences in Canada.

AIR CANADA MEETING AND EVENT DISCOUNT

The ICRM-LLRMT organizing committee has registered our meeting with Air Canada for conference participants to receive a discount on eligible flights to the event. The discount code will be provided to attendees after they register for the conference.

Applicable rules:

• The booking must be made on aircanada.com to the following city: Ottawa, YOW (CA).
• The travel period begins Sunday, September 06, 2026 and ends Friday, September 25, 2026.
• The discount code must be entered correctly at time of purchase.
• For North America 5% applies on standard fares, 10% on flex fares & higher. For International Travel 10% on standard fares & higher. 12% discount on Business Class fares (exception: 5% on the lowest Business Class).

ACCOMODATIONS

The conference venue is the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel, which is steps from Parliament Hill and minutes from the historic Byward Market and Rideau Canal. The hotel boasts more than 7800 square feet of event space. The 9th ICRM-LLRMT will take place on the 2nd floor of the hotel, in the Rideau Room and Salon E & F.

HOST CITY

The 9th ICRM-LLRMT is being hosted in Ottawa, Ontario - the capital of Canada. The city is home to numerous museums, parks, historical and cultural sites, as well as being surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ottawa river valley.

Attendees can discover what the capital region has to offer by registering for excursions offered mid-way through the conference, or by exploring some of the options below before and after the event.
