9th ICRM-LLRMT

Join us in Ottawa!

The 9th ICRM-LLRMT is a five-day conference that attracts international experts in the techniques and applications of low-level radioactivity measurement to share their cutting-edge research and discoveries. The conference is being hosted by the André E. Lalonde National Facility for Accelerator Mass Spectrometry located at the University of Ottawa. The scientific program will feature oral and poster presentations covering a wide variety of topics in low-level radionuclide metrology including:

  • Fundamental Physics
  • Low level γ-ray spectrometry
  • Techniques for low-level α-particle, β-particle measurements
  • Mass-spectrometry
  • Noble gases
  • Radiochemistry
  • Applications
  • Quality and intercomparisons
  • Special thematic sessions:
    • Marine Radioactivity
    • Tracing Climate Change: Science, Signals, and Solutions (Atomic Signatures of Climate Change)
    • Environmental Radioactivity Monitoring
    • Automated radiochemical separation techniques
